COLLABORATION: HIROB X MAVEN
Introducing two brand-new watch faces: Wabi-Sabi and Shibui, to celebrate the love and geometry of nature and architectural design. This is a fascinating collaboration with HIROB, for the campaign held from 1 Nov to 14 Nov in ShinQs Tokyo.
Our watch names, Wabi-Sabi and Shibui are words that are deeply rooted in the Japanese culture. Wabo-Sabi is the most quintessential of Japanese aesthetics which highly differs from Western ideals of perfection in beauty. It lies in appreciating the magnificence of imperfection found in nature and thus to cherish its ephemerality and distinct beauty. Shibui refers to a refined understatement in all manner of artistic representation. It is the art of simplicity, subtlety and unobtrusiveness.

These values echo with our minimalistic and understated designs. Our new product is inspired by the horizontal lines, organic forms and complex volumes that follows the contours of landscapes.
Three different shades of Coolgray Warmgray (Pantone Colour) on the dial mirror the pyramidal form of the mountains that rises above us, embracing the entire city. Also carrying on our “good genes” from Artisan Series: brushed stainless steel cases (Silver and Rose Gold), genuine offwhite and camel calfskin bands that are always reserved for the best.
